Do you believe life is a random series of events that occur, or do you believe things happen for a reason?
I believe that each and every experience that happens in our lives is serving a purpose, regardless of if it is a positive or negative experience. Every circumstance we encounter teaches us something about ourselves, our life, or our destiny.
Each day is essentially a lesson from the University of Life and each struggle we encounter is simply a test to help us evolve into stronger, more balanced individuals.
The lessons in life’s curriculum are non-voluntary, but our participation and success with these tests are entirely in our control; in the ways that we choose to perceive our tests, and how we accept each challenge that presents itself in our path.
Yes it is true that some lessons can cost us a lot of time and money, but doesn’t most post-secondary education? If we can learn to accept the challenges that we face, and focus on the opportunity for growth rather than the inconvenience it is creating, we can really improve our lives drastically.
Life is but a journey of evolution: physically, mentally and spiritually. We must be mindful that all experiences in life are bringing us new thoughts, lessons and strengths that we can apply into the rest of our lives. Never fear the lessons, and never resent them, for if you are not learning and growing, then you are not living.
Accept obstacles as a sign that you are alive, and know that each obstacle you overcome strengthens every aspect of who you are. It brings you an inch closer to your limitless potential being realized. Life will never give you more than you can handle, so have faith in yourself, and your abilities, and know that everything you need to succeed in this life is already within you.
This blog will be dedicated to the University of Life and all of its lessons, and will focus on balance between physical, mental and spiritual well-being in life. I will share my personal experiences, beliefs, and knowledge as I pass and fail life’s pop quizzes along this journey.
I will also be open and receptive to any questions or future topics you may have. There is a “Hot Mess” in all of us, just waiting to be heard; so please don’t hesitate to email me with questions, comments, or concerns: firstname.lastname@example.org
I feel incredibly blessed to get to share my life with such wonderful, empowering people, so I would like to thank you for joining me in this journey. Every day is a new opportunity for a new life, and I am so pleased that you chose to spend a portion of that new life with me today.
All my love and light,
