The "Hyp" Way I Quit Sugar (Hint: It Only Takes 30 Mins)

10/28/2015

It's been over 7 weeks since I quit sugar.  I've attended a wedding, graduation ceremony, Thanksgiving dinner and have enjoyed 2 vacations.  All the while I have not been tempted to indulge in sugar.

This may not seem like a big deal to you.. But to a compulsive eater such as myself, with sugar being my "drug of choice", this is a massive big deal.  This is my only addiction. I don't drink or smoke or shop or do anything compulsively.. Except eat.  I grew up being told "ice cream fixes everything" and I lived my life with the habits of eating my pain away.  And I did.

It wasn't until I met my husband and began to take my fitness more seriously that this began to pose a problem.  Binge eating was now frowned upon if I had goals for a six-pack, and the cleaner I ate the better I would feel, until it was time for the inevitable "yo-yo" cycle of my diet, where I impulsively ate as much junk as I could, all the while undoing a solid year of efforts in the gym.

If I was dieting I felt deprived.  If I was eating junk food I was unhappy with my body.  I felt completely out of control.  I figured this would be something I would struggle with the rest of my life.

But on September 7th, I decided to try something new.  I heard an ad on the radio, and had a hunch that this might be the answer I had been seeking.  On September 7th Christine Perry walked into my life, and it's never been the same since.
If you are serious about kicking sugar, then this may be the right step for you.

I'm not talking about trading in one compulsion for another, I'm talking about healing your soul and releasing the power hold that sugar has over your body, mind and spirit.

I didn't realize how much stress sugar was causing me: from fretting if the waiter was going to ask about dessert, or avoiding a box of donuts at work.  I wanted freedom from sugar more than I wanted the sweet stuff, and today I have it.  I can't even express in words what this has done for my life.

Yes, my body is going to transform without adding empty calories, but for me the greatest transformation is mental and spiritual.  I feel free.  It's incredible.  I would highly recommend hypnotherapy to quit any type of addiction, from sugar to smoking.  Google hypnotherapy in your area to find a hypnotherapist near you.
