Prepare to Be Spiritually Schooled!

I almost never make the same mistake twice, I like to make them like ten times to make sure I reeeeally got the hang of it before learning my lesson. Is this just me?

Why do you think that is? I think mostly it’s because we don’t realize we are put on this planet to learn, and that life is essentially our classroom. The people that piss us off, the situations that are difficult, the times we want to just give up and live in a cave somewhere. Those are all teaching us valuable lessons, even if it's difficult to see the value initially at times.

We have two parts within our brain: the human being and the spiritual being. The human being is fine with things as they are, it wants the path of least resistance, it wants to be comfortable, and when something destroys this comfort zone it is very unhappy. The spiritual being within knows that we are here to grow and evolve, it feels it’s purpose and embraces it’s struggles because it knows this is the only way to grow, evolve and realize our potential.

And such is the challenge in life, because I promise you that you will be tested again and again. What I am challenging you to do today is to embrace the shit. Welcome the struggle. Laugh at the things that go wrong because you know deep within that you can handle it. That these hardships only make you grow stronger. Just like our muscles need to be torn in order to grow back stronger, we need to be knocked down for a few Spiritual Squats before we can grow stronger, wiser and better.

We often hear that call for change, something tells us it’s time to make some shifts, but we listen instead to the human being that says “too much work”, “I could fail”, “It’ll be uncomfortable”, “What if people find out”, etc., etc.

If we all agreed that we are here, and life is a classroom, so we might as well take the damn curriculum, imagine what could occur in our lives. Rather than being frustrated when things went a little sideways, we could analyze from a curious standpoint and try to find the treasures within the struggle.

What could be learned from this? What could this mean? How could I benefit from this? What have I gained?

Just as I can promise you that there will always be ups and downs in this life, I can also guarantee there is always a silver lining to be found. That is the game: having enough awareness to know it’s out there, and to have the playful curiosity in this life to go out and find it.

For anyone in the Fort McMurray area, I’m encouraging to you say yes to that call for change and join me this Saturday, November 19th from 1-6pm for a wonderful wellness seminar I will be hosting along with a few dear friends. The Next Chapter is going to deliver a major shock to our human beings, and it’s going enrich and empower our spiritual beings. I’m thrilled beyond words to be a part of this magical afternoon, and I hope you’ll take the massive leap of faith and say yes to your beautiful future.

Sending love, light and ever-growing expansion,
-L.K.
