A Life Hack to Achieve Your Dreams

How do you accomplish great things? Simple. One great step at a time.

Often with goals, the bigger they are the more daunting they can feel. And when the inevitable motivation crash happens, we are left feeling defeated and deflated.

This is where today's life hack comes in. And it's a two-parter:

Take it one day at a time. Take it one moment at a time. Take it one choice at a time. Break your goals up into the tiny right actions you can take today, rather than staring at a macho mountain of a goal and wondering how in the heck you are going to climb it. Instead, look at your next step. That is manageable.

And if you find you've taken a wrong turn somewhere along the road, don't fret. And certainly don't treat the day like it's a write off (hello diet sabotage). Simply focus on your next step. Make that next one count. Let that next step put you right back on the path you were on before you got derailed.

The steps you take today impact where you're headed tomorrow, so recognize the significance of it and do what you know is right for your dreams. Set your goals up into subgoals and remember to celebrate those little victories.

Remember that achieving your goal isn't necessarily the important thing. WTF? How confused are you now? Allow me to explain.

Achieving our goals are great and all, but not as great as who we become on the path to achieving our dreams. The lessons we learn, our own personal evolution that takes place, and the strength we gain are but a few priceless gems we inherit by enduring the challenges and obstacles we face along the journey.

Goals will come and go, but we will cherish these life lessons throughout every phase of our life. They are our greatest assets. They make up who we are.

What we do with our lives hail in comparison to who we BE in our lives.

So don't become too attached on the outcome, because the wisdom you acquire and the experiences you face will be worth it's weight in gold my friends.

Sending love, light & plenty of wins,
-L.K.
